The Time to Think Facilitator Course  gives you the confidence and inspiration needed to introduce this remarkable ‘way of being’ into any group or meeting.  This has the power to transform the thinking of any group you’ll lead, manage or work with.

Through the prism of group work we revisit Thinking Pairs, Dialogue, Rounds, Open Discussion, Meetings, Facilitation, the Time to Think Council and Presentations and build on what’s needed for great thinking, revised where needed to meet our new realities online.

It teaches these applications from a deep understanding of the Ten Components of a Thinking Environment, offering them in even more depth, and working out in detail how to introduce this powerful way of being to others. This enriches participants’ understanding of how to create and ‘be’ a Thinking Environment® for those around them and demonstrates both in theory and in practice how organisations can become Thinking Environments and benefit from embedding this as a culture in teams and meetings.

This way of being is unquestionably what’s needed now to avoid burnout and exhaustion online, and is already being widely used to support great thinking in meetings and group work.

This article bears out the value of introducing the Thinking Environment into your online work:  https://www.mindful.org/zoom-exhaustion-is-real-here-are-six-ways-to-find-balance-and-stay-connected/

The course qualifies TTT Facilitators to deliver the one-day Transforming Meetings™ programme to groups and organisations so that they can run more productive, effective meetings, and to devise and run bespoke workshops and facilitations.

What you will gain

This course explores the principles of the Thinking Environment in considerable depth, offering participants valuable experiential learning and practice during the course and subsequent 6-month, supervised practicum so that each develops the skill to offer Transforming Meetings™ as a programme and the eight applications in bespoke formats, including Facilitation & Presentation for a Thinking Environment.

This leads to qualification as a certified Time to Think Facilitator and to membership of the Time to Think Collegiate.

The course fee of €1,990  includes substantial supervision time with Ruth during the practice period (practicum) for the six months following the course.

What people say about this course:

“I did my first group Facilitation today on Zoom.  The session this week was such a help, to think that from your home in Ealing a group of school principals in Ireland on a challenging day were benefiting from your wisdom and presence. I look forward to working together again, and to being part of the Collegiate group too.”

Rachel Doogue, Executive and Team Coach, Ireland

I enjoyed learning from Ruth’s expertise and benefited tremendously from Ruth’s supervision, enabling me to complete both the training programme and associated practicum. Ruth has been a super role model of the Thinking Environment and provided professional support throughout. She has encouraged me to stretch beyond my comfort zone and try out new ways of thinking and working with my colleagues and clients.  I would highly recommend Ruth and her delivery of the Time to Think Facilitator Course.”

Karen Mason, Executive Coach and Leadership Consultant, UK

This a wonderful Facilitation course, which Ruth has designed in a way that really inspires new thinking.  Throughout the course, Ruth created a virtual “place” in which we could individually and as a group think and learn at our best.  The new online setting enabled us experience afresh the value and power of the TE principles, and also build our own practice for working with teams and groups.
