Time to Think Facilitator Course

Do you want to become a professionally qualified Time to Think Facilitator?

The Time to Think Foundation Course is a pre-requisite for this course

The Time to Think Facilitator Course teaches how to professionally present eight of the applications of a Thinking Environment®. These are Thinking Pairs, Dialogue, Rounds, Open Discussion, Meetings, Bespoke Facilitation, the Time to Think Council and Presentations, first introduced on the Foundation Course.

It teaches these applications from a deep understanding of the Ten Components of a Thinking Environment, offering everything in more depth than on the Foundation Course. This grows participants’ understanding of how to create and ‘be’ a Thinking Environment for those around them.  It offers profound insight into how organisations  benefit as they become environments for truly independent thinking.  Over the subsequent six months participants develop their skills during a fully supported practicum and learn to successfully embed the applications in meetings and beyond.

This course qualifies participants to deliver the one-day Transforming Meetings™ programme to groups and organisations so that they can run more productive, effective meetings, and to design bespoke training based on these principles.

What you will gain

This 3-day course for a maximum of six people explains the principles of the Thinking Environment in considerable depth, offering participants valuable experiential learning and plenty of practice during the course and subsequent practicum so that each develops the skill to offer Transforming Meetings as a programme and the eight applications in bespoke formats. This leads to qualification as a certified Time to Think Facilitator and to  membership of the Time to Think Collegiate.

Testimonial from Jane Adshead-Grant, participant in May 2015:

“Ruth is an exemplary role model of the Thinking Environment. I have benefited enormously through learning and thinking with Ruth in the Facilitator Programme and Practicum which was an outstanding experience. Ruth has both a deep expertise in the Thinking Environment and a continual curiosity in noticing what helps others to think independently. She is an exquisite communicator both verbally and in writing. Ruth has an abundant nature and shares her insight and experience in such a graceful way which serves to develop our thinking even further. I feel most grateful to have studied and practiced with Ruth and would recommend her wholeheartedly.”
